Situated 10 miles to the east of Colchester, the site is just off the A120. Clacton-On-Sea, Ipswich, Chelmsford and Braintree are all within easy striking distance of the site.

The Colchester site is located in the village of Tendring which is two miles from the A120, approximately 10 minutes from Colchester and 40 minutes from Ipswich.On Pilcox Hall Lane you will see the site registration office which is 100 metres down on the left-hand side. A member of staff will direct you from here to the car park.
